Ironically, we are simultaneously responsible FOR none of them. Perhaps in some very specific legal wrangling we can be held accountable for certain behaviors of those we influence. But by and large people have to face their own consequences for the choices they make and actions they pursue. As customers, there are industry standards for quality, performance and delivery. The board expects productivity and profit. The family demands presence and participation. Often, the team we lead begs for perfection. How do you please them all? ”
